A Letter From Chris Wade
Dear Nexus Family,
The holiday season brings so much joy because it gives us time to stop and reflect on the things that mean most, but more importantly, to express that appreciation as best we can. 2020 has been a challenging year to say the least, but it also brought numerous opportunities for growth and renovation while confirming the need to fuel positive relationships! As we near the Thanksgiving holiday, I can’t help but express how grateful I am for each and every one of you!
To the amazing Nexus staff, thank you for being flexible and rolling with the punches while running a business focused on human interaction during a global pandemic. You continue to give it your all and provide our members with the best coaching and experience during each class. You help keep our members safe by going the extra mile in our new cleaning process and reduced class sizes. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do! You are what makes Nexus Fitness unique and keeps the members coming back for more!
To the Nexus members, thank you for your patience through the volatility of class times and gym shutdowns. We definitely discovered the challenges of trying to establish a new normal, and I appreciate your continued support along the way! Thank you for tuning in to our Instagram live workouts, signing up for X⁴ At Home, or joining us back in the gym! You guys are passionate about your health and I continue to be amazed at the progress each one of you has made on your own fitness journey. You guys are the heartbeat of Nexus Fitness, and your support means the world to me.
When I opened Nexus in 2018, I had no idea the impact it would have on me. I knew I wanted to open a gym that would leave a positive impact on the community and the lives of our members, but I could not have anticipated the impact you and the Nexus community would have on my life. You guys make me laugh, bring me joy and make Nexus better day after day.
I hope you and your families enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday, and that you know how grateful I am for all of you. I can’t wait to see you back in the gym after the holiday to burn off that extra piece of pie!
